A brief overview of the recent developments in Nagorno-Karabakh:
- As of December 22, 1047 bodies have been retrieved from the battle zone, according to the State Service of Emergency Situations of Artsakh;
- On December 22, a group of Turkish specialists conducted training on the fulfillment of engineering support tasks in the specially designed engineering towns in Azerbaijan;
- On December 21, foreign ministers of Russia and Azerbaijan held a telephone conversation and discussed the implementation of the trilateral statement;
- On December 22, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kerim Veliyev met with a delegation led by the National Security Advisor of Afghanistan Hamdullah Mohib in Baku;
- As of December 22, near 43,000 people returned to Karabakh with the assistance of Russian peacekeepers;
- On December 21, 351 displaced persons returned from Yerevan to Stepanakert by buses with the assistance of Russian peacekeepers;
- On December 22, the Azerbaijan Defense Ministry updated list of killed in action in Nagorno-Karabakh to 2802.
