Map Update: Military Situation In Northern Hama And Southern Idlib

Support SouthFront

Over the past few days, the Syrian Air Force and the Russian Aerospace Forces have delivered multiple strikes on militant targets in northern Hama and southern Idlib.

This large-scale bombarding triggered some pro-government outlets that have come with speculations that the Syrian Arab Army may soon launch or has even launched an advance in the area. However, these reports are false.

While aerial operations over the Idlib de-escalation zone have been escalated recently, they have come in response to actions by militants. If militant groups operating in the Idlib zone decrease their activity, the intensity of Syrian and Russian strikes will likely be reduced.

Assads and Russians write like that every time they are out of ammo.

Go to Idlibstan, leave your beard, slaughter a few children, just to get in the “society”, spend some time there and you will see if they are out of ammo.

I still think the SAA and the Russian should reclaim ( at the very least) Jisr al-Shughur and environs stretching 100km south of it to prevent the Islamist from lunching Grad missiles and unmanned drones attack on the coastal cities and military facilities. Why they don’t do it, is beyond my understanding.
