this is one of the reason because ceasefires are useful. Better to have them against SDF/YPG than against SAA

If Putin hadn’t saved Erdogan with this god awful ceasefire, this map would now be red all the way up to within just 10 to 20 km from the Turkish/Syrian border, it may have even been all the way to the border by now. Putting this map up and bragging about it seems ridiculous, Erdogan’s using the very same map to demonstrate to the terrorists/rebels just how effective this ceasefires been, he’s saying to them, “look at the map, that would all be red now if I didn’t save you, that ceasefire I conned Putin into accepting is the only thing that saved you, be grateful and do what I tell you”. The war was nearly won and and they put this map up to show us what, how lucky Erdogan and the rebels/terrorists were, FMD. SF trying to make a failure look like an achievement, this map was great 2 weeks ago but today it’s not, today it’s just a bad reminder of what could and should have been. Thank God the SAA are still slowly chipping away at the rebels/terrorists despite Putin and Erdogan’s ceasefire, so the map may still get a few more splashes of red from time to time fingers crossed, but it really should have been a red map I was looking at today, not this one.
