The Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) are working to secure their gains in northwestern Syria.
On March 24, the Turkish military claimed that the area of Afrin is under “complete” control of the TAF and the FSA. However, the situation in the area remains complicated. Sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) are still capable of conducting hit and run attacks deep in the rear of the Turkish forces deplyed in the Afrin area.
According to local sources, the TAF and the FSA are still struggling to remove all the mines and IEDs planted by the YPG across the region. Syrian pro-government experts speculate that Ankara will have a notable time before the area will be fully secured.

If the pkk has no power and hasnt for 30 years why do they necessitate a broad military intervention against other states? Wouldnt simple police work in turkey suffice? Are the pkk attacking across the border? Not that I heard of. Of course turkey is obligated to protect itself but it doesnt follow he can say pkk and then seize territory outside his borders.
And no not any state would act like this. Almost all would police their borders(from their side) and work internally to repress or god forbid under cut the terrorists support by enabling positive development for ALL its citizens.

I didn’t say the PKK had no power. I said in their 30 years of fighting they don’t even control a stone in Turkey, that’s why they are launching terror attacks instead of war against Turkey.
Also, PKK will never end because its not based in Turkey. It’s main bases are in Qandil Mountains in Iraq. Unless Turkey goes there and clears the area; PKK will continue.

Right now PKK has nothing in Turkey. They lost in Turkey, Turkey is taking the fight them in Northern Iraq(Kani Rush, Avashin, Basran, Zap regions).

This is interesting that the YPG/PKK/SDF are being cleared back to Syrian government lines, but the Syrian government controlled areas are evidently being left alone. This says to me that there is an agreement with the Syrian government coalition to this effect.
This could lead to a two front war against the Jew world order secession attempt east of the river. With the Turks clearing a buffer zone east of the river along the Syrian border overrunning all of the Kurd majority areas to the Iraq border. Which would leave the remaining area east of the river south of the buffer zone in the hands of non Kurd majorities who will be less inclined to take orders from Mossad agents.
The US is unlikely to attack a NATO member involved in border security operations in a war zone in a neighboring non NATO state. And in the unlikely event that the Jews decide to attack a NATO member, any Israeli attempts to attack Turkish forces risk running the gauntlet across the Syrian/Russian no fly zone west of the river.
I think that what we’re going to see is the implementation of well prepared plans for the reclamation of administrative control east of the river by the Syrian government as additional resources are freed up as the mopping up operations west of the river wind down. Afrin has minimal and fading insurgency of PKK left behind enemy lines. Before there were daily videos of PKK attacks against FSA. Now such videos are becoming rarer and rarer. I consider it matter of time before all the remaining PKK are killed, or run away from Afrin.
