On Tuesday morning, Iraqi forces launched a military operation to liberate al-Rayhannah, Anah, Rawa and Al-Qa’im in the province of Anbar.
So far, the Iraqi Army and the Popular Mobilization Uits (PMU) have liberated al-Rayhannah town and they are now 500 meters away from Anah town.
The both towns are located on the strategic Deir Ezzor-Baghdad highway that is vital for inreasing the cooperation between Syria and Iraq in their joint effort against ISIS.
Good Job Iraq and PMU! Nice Assault coming in on 3 fronts while still pushing from Eastern Anbar region.
PMU , yes ! Anah , then straight north , east of Al Bukunah , rescue the SAA from the south at the Omam oil fields . Then come back for Qa’im , and Al Bukunah . Godspeed .
