The Syrain Arab Army (SAA), the National Defense Forces (NDF) and the Qalamoun Shield Forces (QSF) have liberated 4 villages from ISIS and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) in the northern Hama countryside.

The SAA, the NDF and the QSF established control over the villages of Jub Abyad, Shuhatiyah, Rasm Ahmar and Rasm Sawan west of the key government-held town of Ithriyah.

Some pro-government sources speculated that government forces may try to reach Abu Duhur area using the momentum gained during the ongoing advance.

Way to go.

Keep chipping away at them. The more pressure they feel the more they will bite each other.

Or joing terrorist handsd as they did to swipe the oil fields on the east bank of Euphrates southeast of the recent SAA victories. SDomehow they got there without fighting. But even if they’re there you have the questin of extrqacting the oil and transporting it with the SAA to the west and north and Russia and Syria controlling the skies. I’d like nothing better than them punching through to the immediate north and threatening encirclement.

So the SAA pushes ISIS north into HTS/FSA area, and then moves in from behind with some limited FSA support (an ISIS sandwich I think). This is very good. This also helps to secure route 42. :)

Nice, after the Omar debacle it’s good to see the government using US tactics against them; push the guys it’s OK to attack into an area that would be politically compromising to attack directly so you can capture the territory and the other team can’t complain. I was worried before but before but Omar was likely a trap to lure the government so ISIS and SDF could team up on the spearhead while it was surrounded and with stretched supply lines. Better to secure population centres and a strong Iraqi border position; with al Bukamal’s capture Israel and KSA will be officially denied their main objective which is no small victory. The Americans have already realised that actually running with the Kurdistan plan will cost them Turkey and without huge “aid” efforts not even buy them a year of general chaos before Kurdistan is crushed, so they’ll move on to their next evil project, probably Venezuela as this puerile “evil Russia” narrative is starting to draw derision even from their own media whores and brainwashed peons.
