The Syrian Arab Army, the National Defense Forces, the Tiger Forces and other pro-government factions are developing momentum against Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) in southern Idlib. So far, government troops have liberated a large area south of the Abu al-Duhur airbase area and isolated the militant-held triangle Lataminah-Morek-Khan Sheikhun from the eastern direction.
