As Lebanese papers report, Hezbollah is removing part of their forces from Aleppo(&Al-Qusair…) to east-Palmyra. It seems they r getting ready for Big-Fight in Deir Az Zor.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the RAF (the honourable one) laid on more aircraft from Russia and via Iran, just to rub the US head-chopping, heart-eating rapers’ noses in it?

If the Syrian and Iraqi forces can conduct a joint offensive along their mutual border towards Al Bukamal, it can relieve pressure off the SAA forces heading towards Sukhna, and add pressure to ISIS / FSA coalition. Dier Ezzor is only part of the goal, the border is the other.

Wahid Algiers

Right. And the Palmyra, now Arak troops (thousands now) should devide for Deir Ezzor and Al Bukamal to catch the whole Deir Ezzor province while other units take nearly the whole Raqqa province under lead of the Tigers. Homs and Hama countrysides will be taken naturally be the needed operations in the very near future. We will a much better Syria in the next two or three weeks.

Attrition47

Perhaps the clever move is to use Deir Ezzour as a decoy and concentrate on recapturing the economic assets between the road to Deir and Palmyra? I doubt that the Syrian government would turn down the fiscal benefit of reoccupying Syrian assets, particularly fuel, before winter. Now that the decent people have regained the initiative, they can always surprise the US head-chopping, heart-eating rapers and put somewhere in the bag before the rapers can be reinforced.

Looking at that map maybe that is the whole strategy after all? 5th Assault Corps and allies advancing from Palmyra to Sukhna to Deir Ezzor and the Tiger Forces and allies along the Euphrates towards Deir Ezzor. And with that two pronged attack capture all the oil wells and resources in between?

that’s the plan……looks good.

EXCELLENT NEWS ! The defense has cracked at long last, and T3 also ! https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/19f4390a50829580ce711be745f03d64860ee8a12906690568bec58c89ef5513.jpg

Palmyra – Deir Ezzor axis is becoming an axis of destruction for ISIS. They way ISIS defenses are collapsing, Sukhana defenses are going to collapse easily, clearing the way to Deir Ezzor. SAA, Russia and allies are doing great.

Darius

Excellent news… very rugged terrain tho.
