The map above provides a general look at the process of the withdrawal of Turkish observation posts from some areas of Greater Idlib. Despite this, the Turks still have a notable military presence in this Syrian region and the reduction of a number of posts (a large part of them surrendered by the Syrian Army) does not mean that Ankara is in some way leaving the region or abandoning its expansionist plans.
