Very soon the race from three directions to Deir Ezzor City will start.

Rob

LOL. US still there in south Syrian border to lay down eggs.

Rob Centros

Not for long. The U.S. always abandons their allies when there’s nothing to gain.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

They watched their proxies Sharqiyah and Ahmad’Abdo brigades fail this weekend and retreat to Jordan the US likes to use these mercenaries they trained and ended up joining ISIS in Abu Kamal , just like the Ghosts of the desert and the Revolutionary Commando Army which are now in Shadadi killing civilians in that region.

Alexander Grimsmo

We all know the “shia”-rebels armed, trained and paid by USA were meant

from the getgo to join ISIS.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

They are Sunni rebels and the Shia are Sufi not Wahhabi different ideology , Wahhabi ideology calls them and Christians for crimes of Sorcery, Witchcraft and a multitude of crimes a backwards cult can think of.

Cheryl Brandon

ISIS collapses;Great/Bravo well done;Bloody mercenaries of CIA/Mossad.!

WinstonSmith

Great news, the final push deserves a bit bigger effort from Iran and Russia to deploy more and more capable men and equipment to kick the ISISraeli filth out of Syria before the US terrorists and their FSA/SDF proxies come up with something bullshit to slow down or thwart the SAA and allies liberation campaign.

Solomon Krupacek

a bit bigger effort from syrians. they do not want fight. nobody else should die for cowards.

WinstonSmith

If Syrians “don’t want to fight”, how have they withstood US/ISrael/EU terrorists financial, mediatic and military support for “moderate rebels”, who later turned into ISIS/al-Qaeda, since 2011?

Iran and Russia stand to gain a lot in business and investment as well, so it’s a win-win for everyone that they deploy greater military capabilities to Syria.

Solomon Krupacek

i talk about people, who leave syria instead of fighting. why should die fur such beings russians, iranians?

WinstonSmith

Those who go to the West then return as ISIS/al-Qaeda moderate rebels or don’t return at all, so they don’t matter, may they die in the mercy of their whatever lord. Those in Turkey and Jordan, for example, are different and need to be checked on their allegiance background during the foreign-instigated war. Either way, a lot’s been invested already and that needs to be safeguarded.

Solomon Krupacek

3 million left syria. under assad live >10 million people. if they would fight with terrorists like kurds, assad could have half million people in arms.

there is no excuse for this cowardship

Rob Centros

This coming from a beer guzzling armchair general, sitting in the comfort of his home and watching TV. What are civilians supposed to do against terrorists armed to the teeth with modern U.S. weapons? Grow a brain, moron.

Solomon Krupacek

from former officer, you zero

HumanWisdom

Most of the terrorist are of course former civilians, too… it’s not impossible.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

You have no idea and spout a number dreamed up by the media ,there are much more than you think within Syria displaced and that number is 6.5 million the numbers game by terrorist supporters like you get pretty bad. Turkey has millions from the African region alone and they like to lie about the actual numbers to force Syria to pay for them. They receive funding from the EU like Lebanon has received from Syria and the UN to care for the refugees ,them keeping the refugees is a business.

Wahid Algiers

Right. And we have to consider that the syrian government want to keep a normal life up where it is possible with e. g. students, teachers, lawyers, shops and so on.

not for prize of lost foreign lives.

Wahid Algiers

Exactly. Iran wants/needs the land route over Iraq to Lebanon. So they should send in more power.

As I wrote on another site: Looks to me as if it’s possible the honest coalition allowed the attack on Palmyra months ago, to trap as many rats as possible. They are shortening the frontline towards the Deir Ezzor battle, and have less rats to exterminate in that direction. Looks like Russian forward thinking. Bravo!
