On May 9, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Pakistan arrested the former head of government, chairman of the opposition Movement for Justice (Tehreek-e-Insaf party) party Imran Khan. He was taken into custody after a court hearing of the Islamabad High Court in the case of embezzlement of funds of the Al-Qadir Trust Fund.
According to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Pakistan, Rana Sanaullah, Imran Khan was summoned to court several times, but he ignored the summons, that’s why a decision was made to arrest him.
Imran Khan was removed from the post of Prime Minister in 2022 as a result of a vote of no confidence passed by parliament. Dozens of criminal cases have been opened against him on various charges, including terrorism and organizing riots. According to the investigation, Khan, his wife and fellow party members, caused damage to the treasury of Pakistan in the amount of 50 billion rupees by founding a trust to create Al-Qadir University.
After Imran Khan was arrested, the Pakistani opposition called for mass rallies.
Demonstrations are taking place in Islamabad, Peshawar, Haripur, Abottabad, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore and other regions. Media representatives are reportedly not allowed to cover the protests.
It is uncivilised to prevent men from using their fists on one another from time to time.. This is definitely TIME. THe former Pakistani prime minister was ousted in a coup by the army. the political opposition and judiciary in cahoots, bribed by Uncle Soros Uncle Sam, the WEF and the banksters. I recommend acquaintance with Catherine Ausitn Fitts re the economy.
The CIA supported corrupt military is destroying impoverished Pakistan and looks like people have had enough. Maybe a mass revolution this time the army does not kill thousands of civilians like in Bangladesh 1971 crackdown.
The Dollarempire strikes again after he told them they should not tell pakistanis what to do and who to trade with. Well i gues now they can do that again back to colonial status.
Imran Khan must be a good man and loved among people, no other reason people rage against corrupt government in Pakistan. I hope they can free him protesting.
Poor Kahn, a coup, two bullets and now the “go to Jail” card … why make a martyr of the guy ? Cause Pakistan have shady trade with “the wrong guys” and someone need to pay for it ?
Could it be a wrong answer to a very wrong problem ? That’s how you do a civil war despite nothing being very civil in the matter to begin with..
Yup, that is about spot how I’ve been seeing this from Canada (thoughtful).
looks like another civil war
WTF Your wet dream last night eh
CIA yet again.
