Massive Drone Strikes Targeted Seven Russian Rear Regions

On the night of September 29, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted another massive attack in Russian border regions. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian air defense intercepted and destroyed 125 Ukrainian drones in seven Russian regions.

According to the official report:

  • 65 drones destroyed in the Volgograd region;
  • 17 UAVs in the border Belgorod region;
  • 17 UAVs in the Voronezh region;
  • 18 UAVs in the Rostov region;
  • 1 UAV in the Bryansk region;
  • 1 UAV in the border Kursk region;
  • 1 UAV in the Krasnodar region;
  • 3 UAVs were destroyed over the Sea of Azov.

Ukrainian strikes continue during the day. In the morning, one more Ukrainian drone was destroyed in the Belgorod region.

Judging by the number of destroyed UAVs, the main target of the night attack was the Russian Volgograd region. A large fire was reported near the village of Kotluban, where Logistics Center of the Russian Southern Military District is located. According to preliminary reports, Ukrainian UAVs struck another military warehouse with missiles, ammunition and explosives. Ukrainian sources are sharing rumors that the warehouse was allegedly used for storage of Iranian Fath-360 short-range tactical ballistic missiles.

The local authorities confirmed the attack but denied any damage or casualties in the village. Dry grass reportedly caught fire after the fall of the drone debris near the military unit in the area.

Damage to the military warehouse is to be confirmed.

Civilian infrastructure was damaged in the Voronezh region. The local governer confirmed the massive strikes, claiming that wreckage of several intercepted Ukrainian drones fell in the city of Voronezh and on its outskirts. According to preliminary reports, no civilians were killed or wounded.

One of the falling drones struck a highrise apartment building. A fire also broke in the residential quarter on the eastern bank of the Voronezh river. another house was damaged on the outskirts. Fire was also reported in the village of Somovo located northwest of the city. Local sources reported that some of the UAVs were armed with cluster warheads aimed to inflict maximum damage to manpower or civilians.

 

 

 

 

Another group of Ukrainian UAVs targeted the southern Russian regions of Krasnodar and Rostov.

Explosions thundered in the area of the Yeysk military airfield located on the bank of the Sea of Azov. According to local reports, Russian air defense intercepted all enemy drones and the airfield facilities were not damaged. The attack resulted in damage to civilian infrastructure in the Krasnodar region. A civilian house and car were damaged.

 

 

More Ukrainian drones were destroyed in the north of the Rostov region. The intercepted UAVs were likely moving towards the Volgograd region. As a result of the fall of intercepted UAVs, a fire broke out in the fields near the village of Samarskoe.

 

 

Targeting Russian strategic rear military facilities, Ukrainian forces do not stop terror against civilian population in the Russian border region. At night, three civilians were wounded as a result of Ukrainian strikes in the Belgorod region. Ukrainian drone attacked civilian car in the village of Krasny Oktyabr.

In the morning, Ukrainian drone struck apartment building in the city of Kursk. According to preliminary reports, no civilians were killed or wounded.

 

 

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue constant attempts to reach Russian rear with massive drone strikes. As a result of the recent attacks, Ukrainian drones struck large Russian military warehouse in the Tver region. LINK However, most of Ukrainian drones are destroyed by Russian air defense and bring damage to civilian infrastructure. In response, Russian forces destroy Ukrainian workshops with precision missile strikes. For example, such facilities recently came under Russian attacks in the Zaporozhie and Kiev regions.

these drones and uavs (as well their instructors) are made in the uk, so maybe the uk deserves a tactical response acc to a new doutrine. i suggest a small tsunami
