Ian Henderson, a former inspector with the OPCW accused the chemical weapons watchdog of issuing a sanitized report on the alleged 2018 attack in Syria’s Douma. He says that the OPCW ignored serious reservations of its own fact-finding team.
“The findings in the final [Fact Finding Mission] report were contradictory, were a complete turnaround with what the team had understood collectively during and after the Douma deployments,” Henderson said.
According to Henderson, the OPCW’s final report on the Douma incident, released last March, omitted key findings of its own inspection team that had serious doubts on whether a chemical attack took place at all.
Now former member of the OPCW staff, Henderson a recorded video address to the United Nations Security Council after his visa application to attend the meeting in person was rejected.

Mr Henderson is most obviously a brave man with integrity who believes taxpayers should know where and how their money is being misused. He must have taken a wrong turn applying to the OPCW for employment and expecting them to produce impartial results from credible investigations.
The OPCW is now a blot on the landscape and has the same rotten management as the athletic doping agencies. These organisations are now run by gov’t spooks and hacks. Anything spawned from UN diktats should not be trusted because it is now clear that they do not have the wellbeing of humans in mind at all, anywhere. Ian Henderson had the tremendous courage to publicly declare details of the abject failings within the published OPCW report, so too should the talking heads for the US and UK at the UN also have had the personal courage to declare publicly at the UN, that the OPCW report was a Political Fraud by the US and UK governments.
