The MH-60R Seahawk is a US multi-mission helicopter with anti-submarine warfare capabilities. In February 2020, the US and India signed a deal for the procurement of 24 MH-60R Seahawk multi-mission helicopters for the Indian Navy. The delivery of the first six helicopters under the $2.12bn deal is expected to take in 2020.
Many Danish and foreign seaman and civilians owes their life to this helicopter and its crew.
On a technical note, im surprised how loud/easy to hear this helicopter is, for some reason i hear this better than our Merlin, wich is a bigger and heavier helicopter.

The gas turbines on every MH60 design is suffering from random micro torque loss, especially in hot humid and or high altitude conditions, it will lose power for a second, than everything is back to normal. The onboard warning was triggered so often that they simply deactivated it. More helos were lost due to this than to enemy fire and pilot error combined. Funny thing is they know about it but they wont redesign it since the late 70s. I guess its more profitable to make a new one than to repair the old ones…
