MiG-29K
A pro-militant media outlet, the Edlib Media-Center, released Sunday the video footage of MiG-29K multirole fighter jets from the deck of Admiral Kuznetsov heavy aircraft-carrying missile cruiser flying over the Syrian province of Idlib.
The province of Idlib is the sanctuary of Jabhat Fatah al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian al-Qaeda branch and its allies from the Jaish al-Fatah militant operation room. Russian warplanes, flying over it, make signficant jitters among varios ‘moderate opposition groups’ and impact negative their fighting spirit.
The Mikoyan MiG-29K is a Russian-made all-weather carrier-based multirole fighter aircraft. It is described as 4++ generation aircraft and has been developed by the Mikoyan design bureau.
Last weekend, the Russian military officially announced that its navy battlegroup reached the Syrian shores and aircraft are already taking off from Admiral Kuznetsov’s deck to view the conflict zone.
Combat flights are expected in the nearest future.
I wonder how the terrorist could distinguish that it was a Russian 29K from that distance and not a Syrian Mig 29?

most likely on the basis of previously recorded routines. Idk where the syrian mig-29 are based and where they normally conduce their operations (If any, seems that most bombing missions are performed by older types), but if they were never spotted over the area, and now with the Kuznetsov group near the shore, Mig-29s appear, it’s likely they come from the Kuz and not from elsewhere.
