On February 12, the Turkish-backed National Front for Liberation (NFL) carried out a new series of attacks against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) with anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs).
NFL militants destroyed a truck-mounted 23 mm gun, a military truck, a battle tank and a ATGM launcher of the SAA in western Aleppo. The militants also targeted a gathering of Syrian troops in southeastern Idlib.
The Turkish-backed group also targeted what it claimed to be an “armored vehicle” of the army. Later, it was revealed that it was a civilian car transporting reporters of the Syrian state TV, who were injured in the ATGM strike.
The NFL is active in the areas where Turkish troops were deployed in the last few weeks. The group is also supporting al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS).
Several recent reports confirmed that Turkey had supplied the NFL and others factions with new shipments of ATGMs in order to slow down the SAA’s advance in Greater Idlib. This tactic has failed, so far.

Losses were not that bad actually …. empty trucks, abandoned firing points, most personel avoided the ATGMs or were only lightly injured. I was fearing the worst but while there will be losses to ATGMs this batch was not that bad

syrian Army has been lost many2 soldiers since 2011. And if losses agains when fight with turkey, then it’s no problem.
