On June 10, Syrian and foreign militants backed by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) conducted a new hit and run attack on the besieged towns of al-Fu’ah and Kafriya in the eastern Idlib countryside, according to the Hezbollah media wing.

Local sources confirmed that the local National Defense Forces (NDF) in the two towns repelled the militants’ attack. However, the NDF lost six of its fighters while doing so, according to the sources.

In response to the attack, warplanes of the Syrian Arab Aerospace Forces (SyAAF) carried out a series of heavy airstrikes on positions of HTS and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) around al-Fu’ah and Kafriya. The Hezbollah media wing said that airstrikes were focused on the towns of Kafr Rumah, Ram Hamdan, Taftanaz and Binnish.

This was the second attack of the militants on al-Fu’ah and Kafriya this week. On June 8, radical militants shelled and targeted the civilians in the two towns with rockets and sniper rifles injuring two civilians and killing a fighter of the NDF.

Local observers believe that the SAA and its allies will step up their aerial activity around al-Fu’ah and Kafriya, if the militants continue to violate the de-escalation zone there.

I never could understand why SAA has permitted evacuation of so many Jihad killers and their families without finding arrangement with them to exchange them with those people from Kafriyah and Al Fu’ah that are surrounded….

soon they be liberated. As for your question, the answer it is obvious so think about it and you have it.

Give peace a chance. How the militants would react if all their efforts have no effect and they can’t get any momentum against SAA while they’re keep getting encircled ? Now let’s have them see that the Syrian government keep their promise, Russia keep their promise, it’s other allies keep their promise that their surrender and capitulation will not result in their annihilation and humiliation that a real compromise and peace agreement were real things ? Which one they rather have ? Annihilation without any result in damaging SAA or surrender ?
