On October 25, militants launched a new offensive against the Syrian army in southwestern Aleppo, RIA Novosti reported on Thursday, citing own correspondent on the scene.
According to the report, the militants were using Grad multiple rocket launchers in order to prepare a full-scale advance on the strategic Air Defense Battalion Base and the 1070 Apartment Project.
The report also say that the militants were deploying additional reinforcements in the area, citing the Syrian military intelligence data.
Mobile communication and the Internet have not worked in Aleppo city since Thursday morning.
