On February 5, al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies retreated from more towns in southeast Idlib and southwest Aleppo following a new push by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).
Pro-government sources said that army units imposed control of the towns of al-Dhahabiyah and Ajlas in southeastern Idlib as well as the town of Talafih and Judiydat Talafih in southwestern Aleppo.
In the early morning, the army secured several towns in the two regions, besieging a Turkish observation post near the town of Tell Touqan.
HTS and its allies are not showing any real resistance in the areas located to the south of the city of Saraqib. In the last few days, intense Syrian and Russian strikes targeted the terrorist groups’ personnel and equipment in the region.
The SAA will most likely advance further in southeast Idlib and southwest Aleppo in the upcoming few hours. The army is now working to isolate Saraqib, the main target of its operations.
Beautiful progress!!
Long may the progress last.
There is a bonus for Erdogan in all if this. Erdo will have his terrorist army in Idlib released to loot Libya.
Turkey is stretching too far NATO alliance, their aggression against Greece, Cyprus and now Egypt and Israel should be sanctioned
Bravo call retreat no more surrender no more forward ever.

Man, the Russians have their laser-guided munitions dialled in! That’s a battlefield that the US wouldn’t want to fight on (unless you’re Mickey Pompeo in your white helmet)
