Radical militants stationed in the demilitarized zone around Idlib launched dozens of rockets at the government-held towns of Qomhane, Salhab and al-Suqaylabiyah in the northern Hama countryside on May 29, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The state-run agency said that one civilian was killed and seven others were injured by the shelling, which also caused major fires in some farmlands.

No group has claimed responsibility for the rocket attack, yet. However, pro-government sources accused Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), Jaysh al-Izza and the Turkish-backed National Front for Liberation (NFL).

Last week, the leaders of the three groups agreed to unify their artillery and rocket units and placed them under the command of a prominent militant known as “Abu Mohamad 130.”

This rocket attack will likely provoke a fierce response from the SAA and its allies, who may opt to resume their ground operations in northern Hama. Such a measure could prevent similar attacks in the future.

SAA soldiers is not PRO GOVERNMENT FORCES! SAA is the national army which is the army charged with the responsibility of defending Syrian territory!

Willing Conscience (The Truths

“This rocket attack will likely provoke a fierce response from the SAA and its allies, who may opt to resume their ground operations in northern Hama. Such a measure could prevent similar attacks in the future”.

It may provoke a fierce response from the SAA but I’m not so sure about the help from allies part. I liked the last part of the article the best, the part that said “Such a measure could prevent similar attacks in the future”.
