there are less gruyère/emmental-cheese hole areas than several years ago. it should be possible to reverse that with time.

rebels seem to have two goals.
1) to assault hama and homs and cut road between alawi heartland and damascus and
2) to take sukhnah and basicly cut government lands in three and to cut syria/hezbollah from road link to iraq/iran.
