Military Overview: Kiev On Fire, Russian Revenge For Attack On Belgorod Does Not Stop

Illustrative Image

The Russian military does not stop attacks on the Ukrainian infrastructure throughout the country. Russia’s massive strikes began on December 31 and they have not stopped until now.

Drone strikes are launched in waves of dozens of units every few hours. Explosions almost all over Ukraine do not stop either night or day. After Ukrainian air defense forces were exhausted, Russian missiles entered the battle.

On December 31, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that 90 Russian drones attacked Ukraine, which was the record number, but new wae of strikes did not stop coming. According to the latest data coming from Ukraine, on the night of January 2, dozens of Russian Geran UAVs were spotted in the area of Kherson, Mykolaiv, Kirovograd and Dnipropetrovsk regions, another group of several drones was spotted moving towards the Poltava region but then changed their direction and targeted the Kie region. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the night attack by kamikaze drones was repelled, claiming the alleged defeat of every single Russian UAV. According to the report, the Ukrainian air defense “shot down” 35 drones. Meanhile, explosions thundered in different regions.

The routs of Russian UAVs across Ukraine are freely monitored by civilian and military sources, but air defense had no means to intercept them. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine assumed that the main goal of drone launches is to force the Ukrainian air defense to spend precious anti-aircraft missiles. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military relies on mobile groups with anti-aircraft machine guns, while precious air defense systems are deployed only near the most important facilities and are hiding in the densely populated areas in Ukrainian cities.

Exhausted by the prolonged battles against the Russian UAVs, the Ukrainian air defense forces faced massive combined attack, which involved various Russian missiles, including more than a dozen of hypersonic Kinzhal missiles. On the morning of January 2, Ukraine faced one of the largest Russian attack, one of the main targets of which was the capital of the country. Ukrainian air defense once again confirmed its impotence.

So far, explosions were reported in:

  • Kiev;
  • Kirovograd;
  • Krivyi Rih;
  • Vinnytsia;
  • Kharkiv;
  • Lviv;
  • Vinnytsia;
  • Ternopil;
  • Rivne;
  • Sumy;
  • Zaporozhie;
  • Poltava regions.

On the morning of January 2, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported:

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a group strike with high-precision long-range weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles against enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine that carried out orders for the production of missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles and repair of weapons and military equipment in Kiev and its suburbs, as well as storage sites for missiles, ammunition and aviation weapons supplied to the Kiev regime by Western countries. The goal of the strikes has been achieved. All targets were affected.

In their turn, Ukrainian military officials declared that the Russian military used at least 99 missiles of various types. 72 air targets were allegedly destroyed, including ALL 10 aerobatic missiles X-47M2 Kinzhal; 59 cruise missiles X-101/X-555/X-55; 3 cruise Kalibr missiles. The numbers provided by the Kiev regime can never be trusted. The Ukrainian military still has no means to intercept Russian Kinzhal missiles. Despite the attempts of Ukrainian propaganda to provide some fake evidence, the interception of a single Kinzhal has never been confirmed. Footage from all around Ukraine also refuted the numbers of other allegedly intercepted missiles.

The attack started with strikes in Kharkiv. Then, Russian missiles moved to the Kirovograd region, where the local military airfield was hit. More explosions thundered in other regions. In the Zaporizhia region, a dormitory was destroyed in the Orekhov area. The building housed the personnel of the landing brigade, part of which had previously been thrown to Rabotino.

Dozens of strikes hit the capital Kiev. Destruction of warehouses on the city outskirts was confirmed.

Workshop used for the production of UAVs was destroyed were destroyed in the industrial zone in Kiev. This is confirmed by a man who shoots a video in which he speaks Greek, “something was collected for the military in this industrial zone”:

The mayor of the capital Kiev attempted to explain the fires throughout the city by the consequence of the falling debris of intercepted Russian drones and missiles, all of which were allegedly intercepted. While Russian missiles were destroying their targets, which included military warehouses and energy infrastructure, which supported the operation of various military facilities, Ukrainian air defense forces were destroying more civilian buildings.

Footage from the city showed one of Ukrainian air defense missiles falling in the Dnieper. Numerous apartment buildings were damaged by Ukrainian strikes, as well as debris of the intercepted Russian drones, shot down over the residential quarters by the Ukrainian air defense forces. The Kie regime is protecting the precious western military equipment stored in the industrial areas, killing the residents of their own cities.

As a result of effective strikes on various facilities in the Kiev and Kharkiv regions, at least 4,000 tons of ammunition, including rockets for NATO systems, will not reach the front.

Today’s attack led to the collapse of the power supply system of several large military industry facilities in the Kiev and Kharkiv regions. 260 000 people were cut from electricity in the capital alone.

Despite Kiev’s statements about allegedly repelling all attacks by Russian missiles and kamikaze drones, the effectiveness of Ukrainian air defense has fallen and very significantly. The continuous attacks that began after the Ukrainian strike on Belgorod overloaded the air defense of Ukraine, the military is suffering from a shortage of anti-aircraft missiles. Anti-aircraft systems do not have time to change positions, falling under the attack of Russian missiles and kamikaze drones.

More footage of the damage in different Ukrainian cities:

oh, the russians are not done yet. they will keep this barbecue going for a while and will eventually burn the entirety, including the so-called “decision making centers.” get out the marshmallows and champagne. slava russia.

meanwhile, in gaza, the “most ethical army” in the world drops 2,000-pound bombs on dense urban areas with impunity. i think russia’s “most hated army” has “old shatterhand” syndrome, saving the lives of enemies and risking (and sadly losing) their own.

zelensky knew what he was getting into, but wanted to be “king comedian” anyway.

ashkenazi jews have a perfect word for zelensky: schmuck.

concerned citizen

is it normal for air defence missiles to just drop down like that? i imagined, they detonate at a certain altitude, even if they missed, for safety reasons.

that’s only for ‘normal’ air defense missiles. what zelensky gets are the 20% rejects out of the factory and gives them to use by the 80% reject army he has.

it’s like a mega new year’s party that never stops…fireworks and loud loud music that goes on and on. what a wonderful idea. don’t let the ukronazis sleep until they rip their zionazi owners to shreds and slaughter the natostan filth running the slaughter. booooooooooooooom!

soon,zelensky’s ad will be reduced to using street recruits with downe’s syndrome armed with slingshots. the downe’s syndrome ones are the easiest to catch because they smile and say hello when the meat wagon pulls up.
