Mass surrender in a captivity of the Ukrainian military become the norm now, “farewell military aid” to Kiev from Biden, and Trump’s new special envoy for Ukraine.

In the Kursk direction, fighting continues near Novoivanovka and Daryino. On November 28, Russian assault units have advanced in the forest near Malaya Loknya. The Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) suffered more than 60 casualties, one tank, one infantry fighting vehicle and two electronic warfare stations. TOS-1 Russian 220mm Heavy Flamethrower fired effectively at the Ukrainian positions.

The Ukrainian army began rotation in the field, and some units were even withdrawn for combat readiness recovery.

The UAV operators were challenged by bad weather conditions: fog and rain.

Russian units are attempting to reach the village of Sverlidkovo. There is hostilities, artillery and mortars are engaged.

Kiev is trying to hold the occupied positions at any cost, not sparing materiel and people. Ukrainian sources reported that units of the Special Operations Forces of the Main Directorate of Intelligence have reached the recovery zone.

In the Kurakhove direction, Russian Armed Forces assault groups advanced to Chasov Yar and gained a foothold in the area of the refractory plant. Fighting for the heights began.

The village of Romanovka came under the complete fire control of the Russian troops. After the capture of Romanovka, the Ukrainian personnel in the Yelizavetovka area will find themselves in a noose.

Russian troops have defeated formations of the 33rd Mechanized, 79th Airborne Assault and 46th Airmobile Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the vicinity of the settlements of Kurakhove and Dachnoye. The losses on the Ukrainian side amounted to up to 330 servicemen, as well as one armored combat vehicle and two automobiles. Two ammunition depots were also destroyed.

In the Vremevskoye direction, Russian troops are in the final stages of clearing the village of Razdolnoye. It is located to the north of Velyka Novosilka, where the main Ukrainian command and logistics center is situated.

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops broke through the AFU defenses near the village of Vishnevoye and launched an assault on Zelenyi Gai.

Fierce fighting continues near Novoivanovka and Daryyno. The Russian assault groups advanced in the forest area near the village of Malaya Loknya. During the hostilities, the AFU’s losses amounted to up to 60 men, one tank, one infantry fighting vehicle, and two electronic warfare stations.

TOS-1 Russian 220mm Heavy Flamethrower fired at Ukrainian positions, destroying more than 30 Ukrainian personnel. Two 120-mm mortars, a UAV control center and an ammunition depot were also destroyed during counter-battery fire.

In the Volchansk direction, fighting continued in the settlement. Russian artillery fire and UAV drops foiled two attempts by the Ukrainian Army to force the Volchya River.

In the Liptsy direction, fierce fighting is still going on in the forests near the village.

Over the past day the losses on the Ukrainian side amounted to up to 110 people.

In the Sumy direction, Russian troops uncovered and destroyed: up to 200 AFU personnel, one tank, one infantry fighting vehicle, two 120-mm mortars, two electronic warfare stations, a UAV launcher, an ammunition depot, five vehicles, and three M142 HIMARS launchers.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, there are no significant changes on the contact line, but the Russians continue to put pressure on the enemy’s defenses in several areas at once.

In the Donetsk direction, Russian troops captured the village of Novaya Ilyinka. On this section of the front, the Ukrainian mechanized brigade, marine and territorial defense brigades were defeated in manpower and equipment. 10 Ukrainian counterattacks were repulsed, the AFU lost up to 415 men, two armored combat vehicles, five automobiles, a 152-mm Msta-B howitzer, three 122-mm D-30 howitzers, a 105-mm M119 gun made in the United States, and a 100-mm Rapira anti-tank gun.

The Chasov Yar direction is without significant changes. Russian troops continue to strengthen their positions on the flanks. There are counter-fights in the city itself.

On the diplomatic and “invisible” fronts, Kiev’s contacts with its Western handlers have intensified.

The outgoing administration of Joe Biden is preparing another $725 million military aid package for Ukraine. It is expected to include landmines, drones, Stinger missiles, HIMARS and cluster munitions.

It is likely that most of the content of Biden’s “farewell packages” is being supplied to Kiev secretly. And these are almost certainly ATACMS missiles. Earlier, media claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had no more than 50 missiles of this type. However, over 20 ATACMS have been launched against Russia in the last week alone. It is hardly likely that the Ukrainian command would behave so wastefully if it were not sure of new supplies.

Donald Trump’s new administration has nominated retired 80-year-old Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg as the US special envoy for Russia and Ukraine. He pays lip service to U.S. dialog with Russia and China, and was one of the co-authors of a peace plan for Ukraine that was proposed to Trump in the summer of 2024. According to it, Kiev will only be able to continue receiving U.S. arms and other military aid if it agrees to participate in the negotiation process.

Kellogg proposes that Ukraine abandon its intentions to regain the territories seized by the Russians militarily during the current war and agree to stop the war.

On the other hand, Kellogg favors pressure not only on Kiev but also on Moscow to force negotiations. He suggested warning the Russian Federation that any refusal to negotiate would lead to increased U.S. support for Ukraine.

allowing the u.s. to bankrupt itself over ukraine and reduce it’s own military arsenal is not pressure on russia but pressure on the u.s. and to continue the war the u.s. deficit spending shall soar.
