This was just the beginning. There were no western tanks heavily used! If the Russian army has no morale the war is lost. Still there is a lack of ammunition, fighting morale and leadership in Russia.
All hard fought gains within the last year are yet in danger. Soledar, Bachmut… Wagner cannot do all tasks for Russia. Russia even forbit PMC to recruit new prisoners. If it is going on this way Crimea is lost next and some Russian territories will be occupied by Ukraine to enforce a Russian capitulation. To make it worse Poland even made claims on Kaliningrad as a former Polish territory.

The Counter Offensive, is it Ukraine Forces or the Foreign Forces, who are fighting? With regards Bakhmut, what type of area did Russia allow Ukraine to have? Was it fields, without cover and a nice little trap, to enlarge the cauldron? Or was it a small section of Bakhmut, that gave Ukraine an advantage? Exactly what advantages has Ukraine actually achieved to compared with all those that they have lost?
What Russia needs is a capitulation, a true humiliation, so that most Russians will understand that they must rethink and denounce Putin. An aggressive war criminal such as Putin must not be left in place.
