On February 10, dozens of Russian missiles and UAVs hit the territory of Ukraine. On February 11, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that the attack was successful.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation inflicted a massive strike with high-precision long-range air, sea and land-based weapons, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles, on critical energy infrastructure facilities that ensured the functioning of enterprises of the military-industrial complex and the transport system of Ukraine. The goals of the massive strike have been achieved, the Defense Ministry reported.
All assigned targets were hit. The work of energy facilities of the military-industrial complex has been stopped. The transfer of foreign weapons, ammunition and reserves by rail to combat areas has also been blocked.

Damage to the following facilities in Ukraine on February 10 was confirmed:
- the engine room was reportedly hit in the CHPP-5 in Kiev which is the largest station of 700MW in Kiev;
- the engine room No. 1 in the CHPP-5 in Kharkiv
- the engine room in the Krivorozhskaya TPP where at least one of the turbines with a 300MW generator was heavily damaged
- fire broke out in the engine room of the Dneprovskaya HPP (DneproGES-1) in the Zaporozhie region
- the Burshtyn TPP located in the Ivano-Frankivsk region was damaged. It is located on the intersection of power lines connecting Ukraine with Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.
- fire broke out in the Usatovo 300 MW substation in the Odessa region. The station was also used for energy supply from Moldova and Romania
- fire broke out in the Shepetovka 300 MW substation in the Khmelnitsk region
- Hmelnitskaya substation was damaged
Damage in the Krivorozhskaya TPP
At night on February 11, Russian strikes continued. Explosions were reported in Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Mykolaiv regions and the city of Vyshgorod in the Kiev region.
According to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, almost 20 power units of thermal power plants were damaged as a result of the constant attacks throughout Ukraine. Taking into account the energy facilities that are now under Russian control, “Ukraine has temporarily lost 44% of nuclear generation, 75% of the capacity of thermal power plants and 33% of block thermal power plants.”
“Every second substation of Ukrenergo was attacked in four months,” Shmygal said at a government meeting.
Ukrainian air defense in action:
The Kiev regime again used the massive Russian attack to provoke NATO countries.
Zelensky claimed that Russian missiles entered the airspace of Moldova and Romania. According to Zelensky, this is allegedly another evidence that Western countries shoud send more weapons to the Kiev regime which is “protecting them from Russian invaders.”
Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny claimed that two Russian Kalibr missiles passed through the airspace of both Moldova and Romania.
The representative of the Air Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, claimed that the Ukrainian air defense forces allegedly had the opportunity to shoot down Russian Kalibr missiles when they were passing through the airspace of neighboring Moldova and Romania, but did not do it because of threat to the population of foreign states.
Given the number of Ukrainians killed by Ukrainian air defense, the Ukrainian military made the right decision not to threaten the population of neighboring states with their air defense missiles.
However, it turned out that the claims of the Kiev regime were another lie.
The Romanian Defense Ministry claimed that Russian missiles did not violate the country’s airspace. The ministry clarified that Romanian radars registered the closest trajectory of Russian missiles about 35 km northeast of the border. On the other hand, earlier, Ukrainian drones violated Romanian airspace, but these incidents remained without any reaction from the Romanian authorities.
In its turn, the Ministry of Defense of Moldova confirmed the crossing of the country’s airspace by a Russian missile, but clarified that the missile flew over the territory of unrecognized Transnistria, which does not consider itself part of Moldova. At the same time, Russian missiles did not pose any threat to the local population.
Not Russian missiles, but the terrorist Kiev regime is the main threat to European security.
