On March 14, Wagner fighters claimed control of the Vostokmash plant located in the north of the industrial zone of the Artemovsky Metalworking Plant (AZOM) in Bakhmut. Back on December 20, Zelensky awarded the Ukrainian military in this facility. LINK
Wagner sources reported that the mop up operation in the underground premises of the AZOM plant began a few days ago and has already led to Russia’s first victory.

On the evening of March 14, head of the Wagner Group Yevgeny Prigozhin also claimed that Wagner fighters took up military positions in the immediate vicinity of the Bakhmut administration building. The city administration building is located on the Svobody street in the city center.
According to the head of the PMCs, the Kiev regime is losing up to 10-11 thousand Ukrainian fighters every month in Bakhmut. About 50 thousand soldiers of the AFU are constantly deployed in the region, including up to 12-20 thousand military personnel in the city limits.

Ukrainian sources reported a sharp deterioration of the situation for the AFU and the advance of the Wagner assault groups on the territory of the AZOM plant, as well as southeast of the city center and in the southwestern districts, where Russian forces are approaching the destroyed monument with the plane, which is established on the road leading to the city.
“Russians came out to Tchaikovsky Street. Fighting is ongoing near the college. The directions of their main efforts is clear — Tchaikovsky and Yubileynaya Streets in the direction to Khromovo where they are aimed of blockading the city from the west. Most likely, the actions near Ivanovske were a distracting blow …” – Ukrainian military sources report.

Wagner fighters reportedly approached Korsunsky Street, taking control of some quarters in the Budenovsky district of the city. They are also advancing from the garage cooperative Lesnoye.
The roads leading to Bakhmut through Krasnoe and Khromovo are under constant Russian artillery fire. On the outskirts of Ivanovske, clashes are ongoing along the road. According to preliminary reports, the road was again cut by Wagner units in some areas. So far, Ukrainian attempts to counterattack in thea area failed.
