• The government declared a full control over a 50km long road between the Zazi Maidan district of Khost province and the Dand Aw Patan district of Paktia province;
• 3 Taliban members were killed in clashes with the army in the Maiwand district, according to pro-government sources;
• A Taliban member was reportedly killed in a failed attack on government forces positions in the Shah Joy District;
• Government forces allegedly eliminated 7 suicide bombers preparing an attack inShorki village of the Nahri Saraj district.
