A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- 3 civilians and 2 bodyguards were wounded in an explosion on the way of Khost governor’s convoy on April 21. The governor was not injured;
- The Taliban claimed that shelling by government forces had destroyed several buildings and resulted in civilian casualties in the Baghlan-e-Markazi district of Baghlan province.
