A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- The Taliban has conducted an average of 55 attacks per day since the signing of the peace deal with the US, the Office of the National Security Council reported on April 25. A total of 2,804 attacks were continued in the period of March 1 to April 19;
- At least seven Afghan forces were killed in a Taliban attack in the Barak-e-Barak district of Logar province.
