A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- A civilian was killed and 9 others were wounded by security forces during the protests over an alleged rape of a woman by two policemen in the Jaghori district of Ghazni province;
- At least 4 Police officers were killed in a Taliban attack in the city of Gardez;
- The Taliban claims that 29 pro-government fighters surrendered to it in Baharak and Baghlan-e-Markazi districts of Baghlan province.
