- Government forces clashes with ISIS militants in the Chapa Dara district, Kunar province. At least 6 militants were reportedly killed;
- Reports regarding clashes between the Taliban and ISIS continue to appear in the Chapa Dara district, Kunar province. According to pro-government sources, both groups suffered significant casualties;
- 6 pro-governent fighters were reportedly killed in the Dashti Archi district, Kunduz province;
- 2 policemen were killed in a Taliban attack in the Poli Khomri district, Baghlan province;
- The Taliban announced that 45 new group members passed military training in one of the camps in the province of Faryab.
