A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- At least 7 policemen were killed and 15 others were wounded in a car bomb explosion in the city of Ghazni;
- According to the National Security Council, the Afghan government released 317 Taliban prisoners over the past two days from Parwan and other provinces, bringing the total to 4,917;
- 3 policemen were injured after an explosive-loaded motorbike detonated in the Khost city. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
