A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- On December 1, 6 civilians were allegedly killed or wounded near the Khwaja Umari area by airstrikes of the Afghan Air Force;
- On December 1, Taliban artillery shelled positions of the Afghan army in the Panjawiy area;
- On December 1, Taliban reportedly blown up the Khwaja Sabz Posh bridge in Faryab;
- On December 1, an IED explosion erupted in the city of Kabul;
- On November 30, Taliban artillery shelled positions of the Afghan army in Chaki district;
- On November 30, Minister of Foreign Affairs Haneef Atmar met with his UAE counterpart Abdullah Ben Zayed in Abu Dhabi;
- On November 30, two people were wounded in an IED explosion in Kabul’s PD7.
