A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- A civilian was killed and 62 others were wounded after an explosion near Bagram Airbase in the Bagram district of Parwan province;
- 4 children were killed in a mortar attack in Baraki the Barak district of Logar province;
- Government forces eliminated 12 Taliban members in the Trinkot district, Uruzgan province, government sources say;
- Clashes between the Taliban and government forces are ongoing in the Chahar Darah district of Kunduz province. The Taliban claimed that at least 12 soldiers were killed and 22 others were wounded.
