A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- At least 25 Taliban members were killed in clashes in the Shahr-e-Safa district in Zabul province and Trinkot city in Uruzgan province, the Defense Ministry claimed;
- The Taliban seized 2 checkpoints in the Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province killing at least 10 government troops;
- General Abdul Rashid Dostum announced preparations for a large anti-militant operation in northern Afghanistan. Earlier it became known that a large number of ISIS members was concentrating there.
