- On February 11, the Afghan Defense Ministry announced that it will continue military operations against the Taliban in at least 15 provinces. The ministry claimed that at least 10 Taliban commanders had been eliminated in the last three weeks;
- On February 10, government airstrikes reportedly killed 22 Taliban members, including a local commander, and injured 8 others in Ab Band, Andar, Qarabagh districts and Ghazni city, in Ghazni province;
- 15 pro-government fighters were reportedly killed in a Taliban attack in the Surkh Sang area of Arghandab district, Kandahar Province.
