A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- At least 6 government troops were killed in Taliban attacks in the Khas Balkh district of Balkh province, according to the Taliban;
- The Taliban announed that 11 soldiers were killed in an attack on their military convoy in the Shoortipa district of Balkh province;
- 3 government troops were reported killed and another one – injured in the Nahr-e-Shai district of Balkh province;
- US-led forces conducted raids against the Taliban in Maidan Shar city;
- 11 civilians were reportedly killed in strikes in the Sorkh Rowd district of Nangarhar province.
