A brief look at the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- The Taliban captured the Maruf district center in Kandahar province;
- Government forces raided the Baraki Barak district of Logar province searching Taliban supporters;
- 5 pro-government fighters were reportedly killed and 4 others were injured in clashes in the Bati Kot district, Nangarhar province.
