A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- The Taliban claimed that its forces had engaged pro-government forces and foreign troops in the areas of Chain and Khanqi in Tarin Kot city. The group claimed that 20 pro-government personnel were killed or injured, while 6 armoured vehicles were destroyed. Only 2 6 tanks and APCs have also been destroyed. Only 2 Taliban members were allegedly killed;
- The Taliban reported that airstrikes destroyed several buildings, including a school, in the Gul Tapa district, Kunduz province. Civilian casualties were reported.
