• A police officer died in a friendly-fire airstrike near Pol-e Alam city;
• Authorities claimed that at least 500 Taliban members were killed in Faryab province during the last month;
• The Taliban stormed a check point in the Adrasakn district killing 2 and injuring 6 pro-government fighters;
• The Taliban ambushed a government forces convoy in the Farah Rod district. 10 vehicles were reportedly destroyed.
