- A suicide bomber targeted a bus carrying employees of the Ministry of Mines in Kabul killing 5 people and wounding 10 others;
- At least 7 people were killed in a roadside bomb blast in the Khogyani district, Nangarhar province;
- A NATO service member died on July 24 due to wounds he sustained after an explosive device hit their vehicle in Kabul earlier in the day. 2 other NATO troops were wounded.
