A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- A suicide bomber detonated his explosive close to a building of the National Directorate of Security’s special unit in Ghazni province;
- According to a spokesman for the Ghazni governor, the Deh Yak Habibullah district police chief was killed in a mine blast;
- One Afghan soldier was killed, two others were wounded when a roadside mine explosion struck a military vehicle in Ahmad Kheil district of Paktia province;
- 4 ANDSF soldiers were wounded and one Humvee was destroyed in Taliban ambush attack in Zawa area of Khogyani, Nangarhar province.
