- 19 Taliban members were killed and 12 others were injured in a failed attack on the Khwaja Ghar district, Takhar province, the Defense Ministry said;
- 18 pro-government fighters were killed or wounded, and 5 motorbikes were destroyed in the Pashtun Zarghoon district, Herat province, the Taliban media wing said;
- 6 civilians were killed and 3 others were injured by a US drone strike in the Bala Baluk district, Farah province, the Taliban said.
