- A Taliban delegation is visiting Beijing to hold talks with Chinese officials ahead of the 7th round of talks with the US in Qatar, a former Taliban spokesman, Abdul Hai Mutmayen, said as quoted by Arab News;
- The Taliban carried out coordinated attacks on pro-government forces in the districts of Khwaja Ghar, Baharak, Dasht-e-Qala and Namak Aab, Takhar province;
- The Khwaja Ghar district is under the Taliban control;
- A police officer was killed and 3 others were injured in a Taliban attack in Farah province.
