A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- At least 7 soldiers were killed in Taliban attack on the outpost in the Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province;
- Taliban claimed 54 ANDSF personnel allegedly defected in Balkh province;
- According to the Afghan Ministry of Defense, 17 Taliban militants were killed, 12 were wounded and an ANDSF soldier was killed, 2 others were wounded in a Taliban attack in the Sarozai district of Paktika province;
- An Arbaki trooper has been shot dead on the spot in the Dehyak area of Farah city;
- An APC of the Afghan Armed Forces was shred into pieces by an IED blast in the Sara Sakher area of Shawalikot district. Several soldiers were killed or wounded.
