A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- Six Civilians were killed as a result of a roadside mine explosion in Jauzjan province;
- 17 Taliban members and 4 ANDSF soldiers were killed in clashes in the Kajaki district in Helmand province;
- According to the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Afghanistan and Iran have agreed to step up efforts to strengthen security along their mutual borders;
- At least 10 ANDSF soldiers were killed in a Taliban attack in the Bala Murghab district in Badghis province;
- A commander of the Haqqani Network known as Khalid was arrested in Nangarhar province.
