A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- At least 2 civilians were killed and another wounded by a roadside bomb in Nawa district of Helmand Province;
- Taliban announced that it had released another 20 ANDSF prisoners in Kunduz;
- At least 23 civilians were killed after four rocket attacks on a festival held at a market in Sangin district in Helmand province;
- According to Taliban spokesman, Suhail Shaheen, the Taliban and US delegations discussed via video conference the withdrawal of foreign troops, the prisoners release, intra-Afghan talks and the reducing the level of fighting.
