- 5 people were killed in Kabul when an IED blast targeted a bus carrying employees of the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission;
- An intense fighting is ongoing in the Bala Murghab disitrict, Badghis province. According to pro-government sources, “tens” Taliban members were killed or injured during the last 3 days;
- 25 Taliban members were killed in clashes with pro-government forces in the districts of Muqur and Giro, Ghazni province, pro-government media claimed;
- 11 pro-government personnel were killed and 4 vehicles were destroyed in an ambush in the Maizana district, Zabul province, the Taliban media wing claimed.
