- According to media reports, around 200 civilians were killed and 300 others were wounded as a result of military hostilities and terrorist attacks during Ramadan;
- Government forces eliminated a Taliban prison in the Giro district, Ghazni province. According to pro-government sources, 9 people were freed from the prison;
- Activity of illegal armed groups continues to grow at the Afghan-Tajik border. According to media reports, radicals are concerntraiting large forces there.
