A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- At least 11 Police officers were killed in a roadside bomb blast in the Khash district of Badakhshan province;
- Government sources claim that the Taliban killed 4 civilians in the Chak district of Maidan Wardak province;
- According to government soruces, at least 15 soldiers were killed and dozens more were wounded in clashes with the Taliban during the past 24 hours;
- The Taliban announced that 25 government troops were killed or wounded in an attack on a military convoy in the Shahri Safa district of Zabul province.
